Holy crap that looks awesome.
Thanks and welcome to the forum
RadarModeratorI must of only missed you by a few minutes, I went there on the cafe racer. It was a great event.
Cracking review too. I thought the Scout was great when I rode it last year, and I am quietly tempted by one too. I noticed the issue with exhaust heat at standstill as well.
Here was my review
Hard to believe the MWM115 is based on…now that is a cracking bike

Good to see a local business thriving.
PS, the pulled beef roll was ace!
RadarModeratorInteresting to note that the Street Triple has, over the last ten years and in it’s various guises, sold in huge numbers. Triumph have shifted 85,000 so far!

RadarModeratorHow you getting on with the Flying Banana?
Better & better with each ride Tony, I can’t believe how much fun it is, never fails to put a smile on my face
That’s all you really ask for, look forward to seeing it in the flesh
I seriously thought about using it for BC, it’s fast enough but doesn’t filter so well….
No, perhaps it wouldn’t lol

May 2, 2017 at 10:56 pm in reply to: BMW R1200GS (Water-cooled) – Was ist das Deutsche für Humble Pie? #68743RadarModeratorI suppose they are popular for a reason. What’s up with the gearbox?
Just a little ‘clunky’ for want of a better word.
I sat on a R1200RS over the weekend, the sports-tourer version of this bike and I have to say it fitted me like a glove and I could ‘flat-foot’ it. Mind you it was fitted with the lowest seat option
Looks ok tooRadarModeratorDear God, an SS50 v-twin. I am speechless.
Otherwise, a great collection that you wouldn’t see in most museums.
I thought you might like the SS!
RadarModeratorEnjoyed re-reading your ‘CV’.
Cheers!
RadarModeratorThat’s not good Tony, have they given you a timescale?
It’s still in there and they are still awaiting the service kit. It will need an MOT now too as it was registered in May 2014. Not been the greatest ownership experience so far, but hanging in there!
