Ok enough of the CB jokes

It’s the older Redex i used. taken the carbs off again and they seem fine. draining the tank again and rechecking the filter. A mate from work has mentioned an Italian cleaner (can’t think on the name) say’s it shifts anything…Any idea?

Odd question and maybe slightly embarrassing, but would having Redex in my tank have any cause for the above. I think maybe !!!

Ok I won’t tell you it’s a CB arial. Well…………ok it is. A mate of mine rigged up an ear piece and mic in my helmet and also a mic button on the handle bar. Now then, is those days it was quite cool. Remember it was the 80s. Not got one on my GPX.

Thanks for that Pete, i’ll give a try later on. I’ve got a 1988 GPX600r at the mo. Really good nick and you can have a look if i can get some pics on later. I used to ride a Honda CB900f1 back in 84 and a couple of year before that a Suzuki GS550e not to forget my first which was a little Honda H100. Bought my 600 a couple of years back (couldn’t afford 2 cars). I’m an old mate of Radar, Thumper n Toggsy.
