Answers as follows,
Q1.No wires were disturbed in anyway, I tried isolating the unit but only after the red light was on. It remained on too, so I conected it back up.
Q2.It looks to be bright all the time, straight from the ignition being turned on.
Q3It defo is performing better, much more resposive at high speed, and standing start speed has also got a lot better.

Ninja ManiaParticipantHi TT07, coool number, were you there for the centenary celebration? I was and even bought the special ltd edition helmet, shame about the mistake on it tho, maybe thats why its limited ha ha.
The 636 was the 1st brand new bike I have ever owned, it was bought for the purpose of doing the TT trips, I just got fed up being left behind, and my legs are to short for much bigger. Thats a bam.
I never had a full bike licence till 3/4 years ago, just never found the need for it. Bombing about on DT125s, Honda CB200, and the occassional silver dream 250, with or without sidecars, was about my limit.
My brothers had the good bikes and still do, Fireblades, GSX 1000,etc etc and lately the Hyabusa 1300 (thats a weapon and a half, so I was always the passenger, but to feel the adrenalin rush, I bit the bullet and treated myself to the 636, what I call my divorce present to myself.
& off us have done 3 out of the last 4 TT,s. Brilliant fun it is too.Ninja ManiaParticipantCheers everyone, thanks for the welcome. Yes we went to this years TT, it was as usual (awesome).
Only complaint I have is the way they rip us bikers off, what with ferry prices, and £2 to park on grass round the mountain section, along with another £2 to sit your erse in a field to watch the racing, £3.50 for a burger, and the same for a pint, its becoming a rip off, so we lodged our complaint along with hundreds more, and Jimmy our personal taxi driver who is an ex racer and now committee member, has assured us, he will bring it up at the next meeting.
Apart from that we had a great time, I just suffered a bit what with my elbow, hence the need for a change of bike. - AuthorPosts
