Thanks for all of the positive words guys.
Ive been back a few weeks now, but have been sick as a dog!
The doctor found some mystery infection in my blood and Ive done nothing but sleep since I got home. He took more blood yesterday and if it hasent cleared up im off to the tropical disease department in the hospital (I will know in a week or so).
As soon as Ive got my energy back I will post up pics of the journey.
Also…..to those of you who donated….THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
It kept me going in the tough times, I didnt want to let anybody down!

Im starting to feel a lot better, still only running on 80% energy, but I feel a little stronger every day.
The bike is packed, my paperwork and visa’s are all in order……6 days till I leave Belgium
I am riding from Islington to M2 to M20 past ashford to folkestone. About 80 miles, a nice blast if the weather is good.
A horrible ride if it isnt!

It wasnt a great day, I had to drag myself to a couple of embassies, slept all afternoon.
And generally sweated a lot, all in all, a moist birthday!
Nothing will stop me making the trip mate.
Im just sleeping a lot at the moment, still have pain in my lungs after 10 days of anti biotics. I feel like Ive been ten rounds with Tyson.
Its not the best start to the rally, but it is what it is.
Ive been BIG sick for 2 weeks now, everybody thought i was sensitivity to my vaccinations.
Back from the hospital for x-rays.
Ive got pneumonia with 2 weeks to go……Bugger!
My local school has got the kids involved with my journey, kids helping poor kids, it warms your cockles.
Thats my daughter on the other side, as proud as punch.
I took my 11 year old daughter out at the weekend for the first time as well.
Get them interested young.

Quick update…..
I now have my visa’s for….Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan Krygyzstan and Mongolia.
I just need to get my Kazakhstan, Russian and Chineese visa’s and thats the beaurocracy out of the way!
