    Hello again
    I’ve changed the title of my Rd 125lc to this as I have found the more I work on her the more I find the good is not good enough and only perfection is good enough.
    Things are moving forward I am rebuilding the front forks  as we speak this will be the second time as when I rebuilt the forks the first time I couldn’t leave them alone as they just didn’t look right so I will post a step by step picture story on the restore

    It sounds a long time but I want to bring it out on my birthday next year in April I think it’s an achievable target ….even if its ready before I will wait

    No katana it’s on points my dad is too tight to put electronic ignition I’m trying to talk him in to it ……I think they only do 40mph flat out …but I do know a bloke who races bantams and gets nearly 90mph out of it

    I remember when I had saved enough money to have a frame powder coated it cost £46 2 weeks wages the bike was an rd125dx and the frame was powder coated flame red at a local company called Heeley brothers.
    When I walked into the shop to pick it up I couldn’t believe it it was like brand new well worth 2 weeks wages

    Frames gone for powder coating should be back Tuesday next week will post pics when it arrives
