Don’t forget ’em – just as anti-establishment as ratters!

See Ratbikes and Traction engines at Redbourn, Herts this Sat 10th July!

Can you explain what a survival bike is?

Basically – this is a rat bike:

And this is a survival bike:

    Any clearer now?

Basicly, I think (correct me if I’m wrong!!), a rat bike takes a while to fall apart into a horrible state and wasn’t built as such, where as a survival bike is built with the intent for it’s end effect.

Although over the winter I’ll hopefully be building a ratfighter!! The 400 Bros will be getting a bigger engine, nitrous and a single seat. It’s already got a 2000 Fireblade rear shock, want to jack the back end up a bit, and fit a CBR600 front end so I have twin brakes, for the stoppies!! Of course, I’ll have to mod the exhaust, far too quiet at the mo, might build a underseat system.

    More than 2-strokes is masturbation!!

exhaust mode – chopping the downpipes off with an angle grinder as they bend towards the rear gives an interesting look and sounds great as well! – dont laugh, i’ve seen it done
