Hi
It’s a heavy metal festival in Germany. My mates are flying over but I reckon it’ll be a laugh to ride there. Checking to see if anyone else is going and had a similar idea of riding there. Starts 5th August.

The idea would be to ride to dover, ferry to calais then ride up to Wacken (Near Hamburg or Kiel). Or since it is still in the planning phase if anyone has a better route there please do say.Oh yeah and hello as well[

Sounds great. Welcome to the forum Jan. Bike ride sounds great and Calais seems the best starting point. I camped by the side of the Rhein a few times, nice part of the world. Different attitude to bikers there than in the UK. Afraid I can’t make the trip, maybe others can. Hope you have a great time there, let us know.
