Havn’t read all your crash stories yet but here’s mine.
Hammerin home after a hard day’s yakka and about two corners from home i hit a slimy wet patch at the top of a hilly bend. Front wheel went and I hit the deck before i knew what happened. Anyway, long story short. I’m now minus the better part of my left little finger and part of the next one in.
As I hit the tar, the handle bar snapped and folded under the tank which decided to keep hold of my hand and drag me 100m down the road.
Spent the best part of 3 hours getting to hospital cos I was livin out in the sticks of Queensland Austalia.
Lets just put it this way, stick your hand in a blender and that’s about the same affect.!!!

Anyway, after 5 hours I finally got a shot of morphine and all was well!!![][]Lesson number one, always wear a decent set of gloves!!!!![:o)]
