    I agree. I don’t have a lot of experience with the bigger bikes but the bikes I have are both two stroke 125 racing bikes of similar age so they give a fair comparison and the Yamaha is streaks ahead of the Honda even without the power valve.

    Radar is a man of taste, Yamaha are the most daring and have the most enthusiasts fell of the Japanese bike makers in my opinion.

    But I notice in Members bikes that you also own a Honda!!!!

    Then there is the thread about a firestorm or SV1000.

    Come on Radar – stay loyal to the best – Yamaha.

    Its true Sidevalve that I have dallied with Honda and even considered a Suzuki on occasion.
    However I am at heart a Yam man. I want to be brave and buy a Ducati or Guzzi, but just keeping coming home on a Yam.
    Seriously the CB250RS I own is an ace little bike, easily the best four stroke 250 of the early 80s.
