1982 GS550E-X. I would rather have the early one with wire wheels, but at least it doen’t have useless antidive forks like the later ones.
Good bike, 110 mph and 50mpg. Comfortable for a pillion, goes around corners OK
Nice bikes the old GS’s, never saw the wire wheel option on one.
Maybe not sold in Aussie then. Looked good in my humble opinion.

Im currently rebuilding a 750es with useless antidive forks – any ideas on how to blank em off, is it just a case of putting a plug in the hole?
