Midwest Moto Open Day 12/13 May – A Bit of American Italian Action!!
MWM have been selling Indian Motorcycles for a couple of years now and rapidly establishing themselves as a stalwart of the trade both locally and farther afield. Part of the reason for their success have been the Open Weekends they hold a couple of times each year. The latest one was a couple of weeks and as usual it was a super event. As well as an opportunity to see and try the Indian range of bikes, the new range of bikes from Italian marques Fanatic and MM were on show and available to try. In the showroom there was a live band and the ‘Switchback’ cafe situated upstairs was serving great food and hot drinks. I rocked up on my MV both days, once with old forum friend Thumper on his HD and the on the Sunday with Katana on his RSV. My old mate Andy was helping out with the event and was leading some of the demo rides if people were not familiar with area. In fact one of the great things about these open days is the bikes that people turn up on! There were some real beauties in the bike park. The sun shone and the atmosphere was chilled and relaxed. Quite a few people seemed to be enjoying the Indian demos available and the MM was popular too. the 1200 Cesaro was available to try on the day and both the Scrambler and adventure variants were on display too. The little Fantic 125 looked great too sitting in the sun. I couldn’t resist a ride on a couple so I tried both the Fantic and MM. Mark, the owner of MM was mingling with the tst riders and thing got some sales whch is great, the more local business that thrive the better as far as I can see. All in it was another cracking event and I look forward to the next one. In the meantime if you fancy a ride to check out an Indian, Fantic or MM get in touch with MWM and I sure they will sort you out.
