    Went to a bike meet in the summer and had the misfortune of being hit by someone trying to pull a ‘show off’ wheelie. I was on the back of a friends XJ1300 and the out of control wheelier came over our way. We were waiting to park the bike and had nowhere to go. He put the brakes on but still hit our bike just behind where my left leg was. Another few inches and it would have been a hospital job for me. My friend is still waiting for his insurance to pay up.

    Ouch! Insurance companies like to take their time when their paying out rather than being paid!

    Insurance paid up after 7 months! Not bad but my friend is still out of pocket.

    Thats always the way… the only ones who make anything out of accidents (except litigation lawyers) are the insurers!

    To “ERR” is natural.. to really fowl things up needs a politician!!
