300, if you like “historical” films, its well worth watching, I really enjoyed it, directing is good too, dont let your kids see it though, its pretty graphic [:0]
the Spartans against the Persians, 300 Spartans against a persian army of over 1 million soldiers. Although its based on depiction of what actually happened, its by no means absolute fact, as what actually happened is, well, here say, only one of the original 300 was said to have survived, sent back to Sparta by his king to tell of what had been achieved, before the final battle, it was that surviving Spartan Soldier who apparently rallied more Spartans for the battle 12 months later against the remaining persians.
