Pierer Industrie AG, the group that also owns 51% of KTM has bought Husqyarna from BMW Group on 31st January, 2013
Wonder what will mean for the new BMW engined models and what direct this historic brand will take in the future
February 25, 2013 at 8:59 pm #65594imperialdataKeymasterHave they bought it outright?
February 25, 2013 at 9:42 pm #65595HippoDronesParticipantwouldn’t surprise me if BMW have kept hold of some engine designs and they bring out some rather nimble bikes in the future…. hope Husqvarna doesn’t end up a parts bin for KTM and Husaberg now they are all under the same roof!

I think they engines based on the existing BMW singles and parallel twins like the F650/800
I rode a F800R in 2011 and rather liked it:
