Radar, I am in 2 minds now whether to go for another RS or try something a bit bigger. The RS is lots of fun but I find myself wanting more, saying that, I am a stroker (fan) by name, stroker by nature.[] I love 2 strokes but maybe its time to move on?Sam,
The two stroke bug is one that never really leaves you. I have recently sold my elderly RD350LC, but find myself looking through ebay for another on a regular basis. Any of the 600 sports bikes would be a natural progression for you, with the GSXR probably closest in spirit to a two stroke with its aggressive power characteristics. The R6 and CBR are probably slightly better bikes all round but whatever 600 you go for it will bring a smile to your. I ride the relatively outdated Yamaha YZF600R Thundercat, but that brings a smile to my face every time I ride it.
Enjoy whatever you buy, and make sure that you post about it on here!March 13, 2006 at 10:09 pm #45968samstrokerParticipantI will. Got to wait for my cheque then I suppose I will do the sensible thing and go and try a few out.[] Thanks for the advice.
March 13, 2006 at 10:12 pm #45969GixParticipantYou’ll fall in love with the GSXR, crackin bike![]

He couldn’t get his bike up the stairs, but he would of done if he could!
Sam,
Like I said any of the 600s will be fun. They will feel very heavy after your lithe RS. See if you can blag a few goes on some, I always favour Yamahas, but so many fine bikes out there. I really think we are in the middle of a golden ag, but won’t appreciate it until we look back. w
March 15, 2006 at 7:58 pm #45976DiggerParticipantThats cool,I want to bring my bike in the house.Would rather look at that than watch the shite thats on TV.
March 16, 2006 at 8:03 pm #45977samstrokerParticipantThat is cool Radar! I’m still waiting for my cheque, but as soon as it is in my sweaty little hand I will be off to do some test rides![]
March 16, 2006 at 8:08 pm #45978sidParticipantwhy wait for the cheque do the test rides now so you know what you want when the moneys cleared
March 16, 2006 at 8:14 pm #45979samstrokerParticipantWell, I could but I have got to find someone to go with me first, not sure what I am looking for and whatever bike I do go for, it will be second hand because my payout will not be enough for a new bike.
Never thought about looking now, told you I am a typical dizzy blonde![:o)]
