    Another area I like to ride is South-East France.

    Look up ‘Gap’ and all around there, draw a circle around that place, 50 miles in diameter…it is superb biking country.

    Few cars, lovely weather, hilly, scenic, just great, with far better road surfaces than in UK.

    Agreed. It is one of the most beautiful places and the roads are just fantastic. Ardeche is my favourite region in France I think.
