I’ve done loads of track days. . . And believe me it can get very addictive! I ended up with track bike,van,tyre warmers,wets on wheels etc etc. All very costly. And used most of my leave going to them..not good for the missus!
They were all good fun though but very tiring by the end of the day.
I sold all my gear a couple of years ago so I could concentrate on my horse stuff.
I did the Ron Haslam school last August for a birthday treat on the cbr 600rr provided by them. I thoroughly enjoyed the day. My instructor was James Westmorland of BSB fame!
The only down side for me was the fact the 1000’s are on the track at the same time and you are told to let them past all the time. Not an issue as such but when you get into a nice flowing rhythm it is annoying when you have to sit up and wait.
Apart from that it’s a great,if expensive,day out.
