Bimota steering fun…
Met Nathan Millward: he took a little postman’s bike from Australia to UK. The little postie was livid! Nice lad – this was about 9.15am so we had time for a good chat. Bought his books – the reviews are excellent..

BMWs best looking bike bar none (IMHO)
CCM kindly lowered their 450GP Adventure bike for me and other short-arses: they now offer 4 seat heights. Test ride chalked in for next year in Bolton. Lighter than a lot of 250s at 125kg this could be the perfect solo adventurer (not ideal with a pillion plus her luggage… : ) for non-tarmac routes.

The Millyard Viper, an 8-litre 10-cylinder moped chucking out 500hp. Started it up: sounded very calm compared to last year’s magnificent H2R but the back-fires after each throttle blip were certainly impressive….
Thought you’d like to see Steve Parrish in action….Well, it was another really good year: I bought books & DVDs; Jed got some strange Korean salt-powered re-usable heat pouches. I look forward to his review….

Had my paparazzi hat on – this was a snatched photo at long range with a small camera: Ol was working so hard that he created a local heat haze that steamed up the lens….
