I am looking at my options for the replacement to the Ducati Sport Classic Biposto, and currently nothing floats my boat:

Do any of you have any suggestions that I may not have considered?

Did you ever get a go on a MT-10?

I think you would love my MV too, but the ways things are I couldn’t recommend one

I didn’t, but they have upped the price this year for no reason so not going that route.

I love the look of the MV’s but I think you are right to suggest staying clear for now.

How much are the first MT-10s coming on to the used market? Are the folk who must have the latest thing will be trading them in for SP’s with 1500 miles on the clock

Fair enough. So are you after power, quirky or simple fun?

fun mainly, liughtweight fun. Straight bars and none of the racer crouch either.

TBH, I want a proper supermoto but unless I buy secondhand and drop £1500 into it to get it rebuilt straight off the bat then there is nothing currently, kinda guess this falls into the SM bracket but in a roadbike modern twist.

Somit like this I could potentially still take offroad if the fancy took me too…

How about a CCM like the one a fellow forum member the Big E tried recently? He loved it

They are very underpowered and tbh, look rather dated :)

    I’ve always had a hankering for a Buell XB12R

I do like the idea of a Buell and they look great. The XB12R has clip-ons which is a no-no for me, reliability has always been an issue with Buells too. The front brake is something that I love and loath…. mechanically as a braking system goes it is a fantastic idea, but on a high torque and short wheelbase bike like a Buell I can only imagine buckled rims or cracked disks from hamfisted wheelies! :O

I’ve always liked them – for no sensible reason

Had a go on one once, not sure why they fit a front wheel as it’s never on the ground.
