Hi Peeps, just a short visit to let you know that me and Dave had a bike accident today, The front wheel had a blow out, moments before accident was doing 120mph allegedly[
] but bike started tank slapping,as you know you cant use brakes while thats going on, so Dave manage to slow down to approx60mph, before bike started somersaulting, Dave went over handle bars followed by me and I flew over dave and landed sveral feet away, the good news is that we all landed on a muddy verge,Didnt want to go to hospital today so we called out Dr. and he insisted that me and Dave go for Xrays, Dave with suspected broken ankle, me with suspected fractured spine the upper part, so hence we’re both in a lot of pain, so going to pop loads of pills and some smoke so might be away for a few days, just thought I’d let you know……..At least we’re both alive, which might have been a different matter if we landed on the road[] Think the bike is repairable, but Dave has decided to give up biking, cause he’s taken this as a warning…..I dont want to give up biking, but I do respect Dave how he feels[] So any visiting bikers will be probably hounded by me begging them to take me for ride on bike[]shit barmy glad youre ok maybe dave will feel different in time about giving up
if ever you want a summer ride with a younger man give me a shout i’m near enough to come to your aid babe[:o)]so sorry,tell dave not to give up biking its not his fault it happend,ive had 2 crashes im still here[
]So sorry to hear that barmy,hope you and dave have a speedy recovery[
].Hope dave still carries on biking,give him time and the buzz will come back me thinks.Very shocked to hear about your accident BC. Hope you and Dave recover quickly and maybe Dave will feel differently in a few weeks and will return to the saddle.

]Thanks for all your well wishes, makes me feel warm inside, means a lot to me and Dave.
We went to casualty today, my whole spine is swollen and has also flared up arthritis, Drs orders complete bed rest till swellings gone down. Dave unfortunately has completely broken his ankle, he’s staying at home till swellings gone down then he has to go back in for an op, to have his ankle pinned. It’s gonna take quite a long time to recover. Dave’s still adament about giving up biking…….but unfortunately it hasn’t put me off.
