I drive a Rover and luv it…… is the easiest car i`ve ever driven but have to agree on the “iffy” quality. I bought my car brand new and at 4,000 miles had to have a new engine and at 6,000 miles had major problems with the gearbox. I wrote to Rover and they were very good and fixed all the above free of charge and extended the warranty another 5,000 miles but my cylinder head gasket went at 18,000 miles and I wasn`t covered. Am sorry to hear bout the redundancies all round tho.

when I was pregnant I had a craving for Hollands cheese and onion pies from the chippy and i`d ask them to fry them in the hot oil for a couple of minutes [
