Thanks, Radar, didnt know DSS kept manuals.
I do buy bits from them but WEMOTO are sometimes half the price.Benji, zxr400’s are not eligible for Forgotten era, but yes probably the best 400 track bike.
I’m going to do local meets, when time allows, as I work a lot of weekends, not looking to win anything, the class is full of ex-racers doing it on the cheap, but hopefully have a laugh and a few good races with similar minded people.
Well, Im starting out with nothing, hopefully I’ll have some of that left at the end,,,,,LOL
Will keep you posted.
Still need bits.

I’ve been going to club race meets spectating for 20 yrs, my mates have raced, some successfully!
I nearly bought a track 87 VFR400 at the end of last season, but hesitated and the guys friend bought it,now I’m sick as although the guy isnt going to win anything he’s having the time of his life.
I was intending doing a CBR600’87 but that steelie class seems to be full of later, faster CBR’s.
I have a lot of Jelly spares, and was selling/swopping them.
I had the chance to get a load of Nc23 bits from someone who puts CBR600 motors in 400 cbrs.He offered me the makings of a bike.
I am very experienced mechanically, and have access to an engineering workshop.
There is a manual here but when I try to download it it stops at 32 mb, its 52, a pdfhttps://www.carlsalter.com/aaman/Honda_CBR_400_Repair_Manual.pdf
I have been told the Haynes 3552 covers it but I see its for later models.
Parts manual.
I need to see where the pipes and brackets/fiddly bits go. go. - AuthorPosts
