My sister trained to be a nun and she almost peed herself when I told her that joke today.
Carrie,
Glad your sister enjoyed it!

RadarModeratorCookeye,
Next time you e-mail Rick say “hi” from Radar, he might well remember me too. Did he really crash his milk float down by the docks?
It was a long way on a Vision, but great fun.
My wife trained as a nurse in Ipswich, is this your neck of the woods?
Radar
sam guy m8 of mine small world e/mail him once a week
all that way on a vision
cookeye[]RadarModeratorI do remember a Rick, but I am not sure of his surname. He was ex RAF as I remeber and worked making test rigs. I don’t remember much about his bikes, but he had an amazingly ratty Triumph Vitesse car that he sold to another mate of mine. I vaguely remember that he left to become (bizarrely)a milk man in Ipswich! From there he went on to Spain. Is this the same bloke your thinking of?
Nice one radar
was you at lotus about twenty years ago then if so did you know a guy called rick hilton he had a honda 50 thing for a bit and loads of differant other petrol driven stuff takes me ages to type this s*** with one finger so thanks for your post i knew scooters would work

Sorry havn’t got one, or know anybody who has!! Not much use sorry. Any more info on your 560, sounds like an interesting piece of kit.
RadarModeratorRode a Honda Vision from John O’Groats to Lands End non stop for Charity in 1990 for charity with 4 mates. I wrote the story up and submitted to the UMG. They have never published it. Shall I post it on here?
Also my first bike was a C50. Awesome piece of kit!!Loads of fun on a C90 too. Not truly scooters but you know what I mean!
Horsepower and smiles are not absolutely linked

Suzy GSX600R and I can’t fault her. 28,000 miles and she hasn’t missed a beat.
Caught someone trying to steal her once. He won’t try it again[]
Fastboy
What year/model is it?

Wheelie
Rather jealous of the Kat. I remember them at the 81 bike show at the NEC and it blew my mind.
On the other hand I had a KH250 once and sorry to say it was a pile of junk!! can’t win them all. Still fancy a H2 though!!RadarModeratorquote:

Always liked the Zephyr range. All the style of the classic Kwaks and bit of modern capability mixed in. My Dad had three Ford Zephyrs too. Nothing to do with the bike, just thought I’d tell you!
Is the Divvy any good? Poor mans FJ, or thinking mans BMW?
Just because I don’t care doesn’t mean I’m not listening – Homer Simpson
RadarModeratorFirestorm any good. Is the fuel consumption and tank range THAT bad, or is it just the flyboys who write in the Glossy mags talking rubbish again?

tell me WHO IS SOFTCookeye, I am a proud Fairweather Biker now. I did all that cold, wet stuff years ago. It was miserable. Bikes are at their best when the sun is on your back and open road is in front!!

RadarModeratorXT500 sounds cool. The Harley models confuse me a bit, but it sounds impressive!!
Friend has a BMW R1100S. Cracking tool, especially in the Welsh mountains. Very Yellow.Dirt bike racing sounds fun, I have never ridden off road apart form when I took my Honda VF1000 for a trip into the Norfolk countryside back in 88.
RadarModeratorThose 668 look real tasty. Bloke I used to work with actually swapped one for a brand new moped recently! Whatever floats your boat!!
ZX6R – a competitor for my Thundercat, well nearly…
CB250N – Somehow I’ve had 3 of them down the years. Even used to rent one out to a 1200 Goldwing owning mate for the winter.
Melody – One of thes too, you havn’t got B276 MLE by any chance? My wife’s last ped way back in 91.
