Lol and I haven’t finished yet either…..throwing knives or star next….. Lol
GixParticipantI’m assuming you can use any aftermarket rails and sights, especially snipers, should you so wish?
Do you ever air soft in the dark?GixParticipantSome do have blowback yes, but that one doesn’t.
I think Andy wants to borrow the gear and the woods for the APU again this year, you should come up for the weekend
GixParticipantYeah I’m not into leaving a trail of injured pheasants.
Might still get one eventually, cos I can still do target practice with one (I’m assuming! My crossbow shoots BBs as well as bolts and they are ok for target practice).GixParticipantYes please!!!!!
Have thought about getting air soft rifle, but I don’t play lol are they any good against pheasants? LolGixParticipantPs. Got a few new toys since you were last here…..got a bit of a collection going on now! God help anyone that annoys me lol
GixParticipantSounds a lot easier than blueing! Takes me hours to strip and reblue! But it does look nice once done
GixParticipantNo you got wrong end of stick.
Rifle and shotgun barrels are not stainless. The black finish on them is ‘blueing’, a chemical that you paint on to barrel (after removing old blueing with chemical remover and degreasing), then you re oil with a light oil to protect. I was wondering if air soft gear had stainless barrels or if you had to maintain like shotties or air rifles.GixParticipantHave you seen the remote claymores Pete? BOOM! Lol
Not much experience with air soft gear, do you have to blue them or are they painted/powder coated/whatever? If you blue, what do you use? Liquid or gel? I’ve been using the gel but have ordered some liquid, it’s difficult to get an even finish with the gel so gonna try the liquid.
GixParticipantOr a crossbow bolt….and slung it over the bike, few mutton chops there…..lol
GixParticipantIf he’d have swung his leg over its back it would have run off (ok he would have been on it and had to walk back to bike lol), can’t you tell what kinda fun we used to have working on the farm? No wonder my back is knackered lol.
Also, if he had a plastic bag or rag, filled with gravel, shake at ram then chuck in trees, would have given him time to get by, sheep are dumb, it would have gone to investigate as farmers usually feed straight out of bags from back of a truck…..Funny tho!
I love sheep!GixParticipantLol thumper looks like he has a tooth sticking out of his cheesy grin!
GixParticipantGreat meeting you and many thanks for the nice scenic route to the ferry
Lol did he get you all lost?
We used to call Speedy, SatNav! I’ve done a day by day account of the hospital stay which I may just post later. Although not bike related, the read may just encourage you all to stay safe and out of hospital lol

Now have feeling in big toe and whole leg doesn’t feel so cold, it always felt warm to touch but like a block of ice to me, now it feels warm like left, and heat is a feeling so quite happy today. Still lacking strength tho. 15 staples removed yesterday, scar is twice the size of last years but they have still managed to not ruin tattoo.
