I am on Chrimbo leave now and had some things to drop off at my ex’s on my way back from Scotland. She lives in the Lake District above Lake Windimere.

After dropping them off I drove the Special Bus south along the lake road and through the hills heading for the A6/M6 junction near Kendle I think it was…

WOW, what a road, well dodgy I bet if not read right or with ideal conditions (like ice etc) :$

I am gonna have to get over there in the summer if the submarine’s program allows coz the gixer will think its it’s birthday!

It looks just as much fun as riding the Lochs in Scotland, can’t wait to give them a go!

What I remember about the roads around the lakes is the narrowness of them. Great fun until there’s a car coming the other way! Can’t get twistier or more challenging though.

Yeah thats what I thought too in my ambulance on the ice, deffo wait till summer to go play on them I think!
