Hey all
I’m new to The Bike Forum, as am I new to bikes.
I just bought a 2004 Yamaha TW 125, but I’m having problems with it:
When I press the starter button, there’s a loud (and I mean REALLY loud) screaming/screetching noise comes from it, even if I only tap the starter button, though I’m not certain it’s coming from the starter itself.
Does anyone know what may be causing this? And if there’s a solution to it?Many thanks in advance!
Luke

I had a look at the starter, and the staft seems a bit stiff to turn, so I’ll dismantle and lubricate it.Cheers,
