hi lads ,
can anyone tell me how wide Renthal bars are and are they better than the standard set I have on my Bandit.
I have tight access ( to my back garden) and my normal bars just about go through with a bit of turning , I love the look of Renthals but don’t want to shell out £40 plus if they won’t go through my gate.
cheers

My original gate was only 31″ wide.. worst part was replacing the post. I only have the normal bars on my Bandit and have to turn quite tight through the alley to get in, but with the slightly wider gate its sooooooo much easier!

I can get through quite easily at the mo by doing as you say , turn one way , get the one end through then turn the other , I just get the impression that Renthals are slightly wider so i’ll have to take the old measuring tape to them. Widening the gateway isn’t my first choice cos the walls have just been newly built in quite expensive stone ( before I decided to buy a bike) and I think my Mrs would kill me for ruining her new landscaped back garden.
