I agree, but being a devil’s advocate, the cost of the extra bike, it’s insurance, tax, and MoT, (plus the riding gear, as well if you didn’t have a scooter) mean that you are realistically not saving anything, and are probably paying more!
I say, get shot of the car, and order your shopping online!

I keep toying with the idea of a newish van
They are so practical and you can almost drive modern ones around like a car too with all the front and rear parking sensors etc
I’m with Claire on the multiple vehicle thing and I definitely enjoy vans whenever I drive them. Being let out in traffic is just an added bonus too!
