Having just bought the comic again after many a year I was well shocked to find so few bike breakers listed…. I’m guessing it is one of two things: A) They have all gone cyber B)I am a dinosaur and no one wants used parts any more!
Can any of you good folk (and the not so good even) point me in the right direction…. I’m lookiing for either a camshaft or complete head for a XT550 thumper… I have read somewhere that maybe the XT600 camshaft/head will fit but who knows???

Excellent news on the 600 swop as the 550 bits are proving to be only very hard to track down. I bought this bike while I have my Kwack RX thou off the road for a bit of cosmetic fiddling. The thought of knee deep snow on a 550cc bike fitted with knobblies has me laughing in my sleep …… it is the fisrt winter since I was nipper I really do want it to snow - AuthorPosts
