GPS-linked speed limiters next?
In case you thought road user charging was the UK Government’s only plan for controlling the way people drive, it is also investigating a system called Intelligent Speed Adaptation, or ISA. In essence, an on-board device checks a vehicle’s position constantly by means of GPS, compares it against a database giving the speed limit for that section of road, and slows the vehicle down if it is going too fast. Drivers can override the system with an accelerator “kick-down” feature.
Hope the same applies to the throttle!!!

Saw a program recently that looks at what Japan has got available at the moment. These usually hit our UK stores about 18 months later. GPS 3D screens which can actually show you what cars are in front of you and you can pan around for a short cut yourself!
Not essential on a bike but a great gadget anyway.
Read in “Car” magazine many, many years ago a piece about computers in cars and one prediction was that the government could track you, detect you spedding and automatically derict debit the money from your bank!
