Think of a classic 1960’s Triumph and one conjures up images of meaty twin cylinder 650s, and ton up cafe racers. However Triumph also made a rival to the likes of Piaggio and Lambretta and I came across this example when taking my bike for an MOT recently

The T10 replaced the Tina in 1965

April 1, 2015 at 8:39 pm #68532TT07ParticipantI must own up to this being as it’s to do with the subject – Having got my licence ready for my 16th birthday I was out on the road at 08:00 and on a Triumph, yep a Triumph scooter – a Tigress 175cc 2 stroke! There was also a BSA scooter of the same design, that being a BSA Sunbeam, a 250cc 4 stoke!
