Mate has just bought a new one and rocked up to my office on it today…impressive looking and sounding bike. I will stick some pics up tomorrow, certainly brightened up a dull day at the grindstone!

Sounds good. I bet if he’d rolled up on a CB125 it would still have brightened your day though.

He has specified quite a few extras, headlamp shield, heated grips, centre-stand (should be standard imho), spots and the world’s smallest butty box

Nice looking peice of kit though

Indeed it would…mind you I did find out today that the Uni tech park where I work is built on the site of an old aircraft engine plant…pity I missed that by a few decades…dam!

The road based one would suit me better, I was on tip toes when I sat on it. I was offered a go, but it was freezing and I was dressed for the office…not good

My mate has done over 4,000 mileson his 800 and is loving it so far.

I would say the various 800’shave had a much better impact on the market than the 1200 Explorer.I see loads of the 800 about, but I have only seen a couple of the 1200s
