Hope this is taken as it’s meant, as an open upfront question.
Do people really give a toss?
Hey, what, git, you say, well let me tell you a story.
I got involved with MAG back in 1980, jesus am I that old….anyway and over the years I’ve done my bit, been a MAG rep, done the runs, the rallies, organised one or 2 piss ups and ride outs too, and even met our dear MP’s and MEP’s. So you can’t say I haven’t done my bit.
The point is do you really give a shit. As a biker I do, hence the reason for me getting my orange box out.
So back to the question and the point of this Bikers Rights Bit on this here Forum.
Do people really give a toss what happens to biking?
Would I be better off spending my time doing something else other than getting my orange box out and having a rant?
Do you think you could actually do any good, make any changes, well you can. Join MAG and/or the BMF, they do need your dosh and help, and yes they do make a difference and make things happen.
I’m not asking you to all become citizen smith, only for support.
You’ll get used to me and my abrupt ways, and I will try to keep this bit of the forum an interesting one.

Nobody is saying that, although the response to this section needs some more input! Funnily enough I was talking about this section with a fellow biker where I work only yesterday. Keep posting links and information, because we all need to be aware of what could happen to our world if biking becomes heavily restricted.
Let us know how life with the trike is too!
I’ve only just read this today. I’ve been working overseas for a few months over the summer and I’ve been too busy riding my bike (and working) since coming home; however to answer your question:
Yes, I give a toss. In fact I care a great deal. However instead of volunteering my spare and precious minutes to fighting for bikers rights I elected to offer my services as a school governor; so while you fight for my right to ride freely I’ll fight for the right of our kids to have a good standard of education.
You have my wholehearted support, please keep up the good work
