LOVE IS GIVING SOMEONE THE ABILITY TO DESTROY YOU, THEN TRUSTING THEM NOT TO.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, Vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming…….WOO HOO, what a ride!
May 7, 2005 at 9:02 pm #26834GSF K1ParticipantThats a nice looking twin.
To “ERR” is natural.. to really fowl things up needs a politician!!
May 7, 2005 at 9:06 pm #26836RadarModerator@ GSF – it is a single! Hence his tag of Thumper! Mind the twin exhaust outlet is a bit confusing. My CB250RS is the same.
@ Gix – I will mention the state of the gardens to my neighbours and come back to you with a plan for a full landscaping job!
Seriously though, the SRX is a great bike and loads of fun to ride.

Take it easy out there
May 7, 2005 at 9:51 pm #26840RadarModeratorIt isn’t a twin, but a single with twin exhaust ports. It rides completely differently to a four cylinder bike or even a twin.
It lacks raw speed but the response and feel are lovely. They are an acquied taste and not everybody likes big singles.
As for V twins I think they are great. Ony ridden a few (Firestorm, 748 and 907ie Dukes and a few Guzzis), but loved them all.
In my ideal garage I would have a V twin somewhere.
A mate in Scotland has a SV1000, I will try to get him to post about it.
