My trusty, but slightly crusty 1988 Lotus Excel SE is in need of some TLC:
Stop water getting the interior (including the glovebox?!)
Reseal the windscreen (see above!)
Paint the front of the car, heavily chipped
Fit the better (still standard) wheels I bought a couple of years agoI have owned the car for nearly 11 years now…do I sell and try something different?

That does look tempting even the wheels, spoiler, door mirrors and trim are wrong for a 1988 X180, the changes have been well executed
November 3, 2013 at 5:17 pm #67099imperialdataKeymaster…even if the wheels, spoiler, door mirrors and trim are wrong for a 1988 X180, the changes have been well executed
And the anorak award for November goes to….. Radar!
Must create a new icon for that.

I have a sinking feeling that I might win that award fairly regularly…
November 12, 2013 at 8:29 pm #67101RadarModeratorI contented myself with a new gear lever knob for my poor old Excel in the end, a cheaper option!
