For those who don’t know me….I normally go by the name of Barmy……cause people who know me knows that I am  ;D  :P  For years me n Dave rode 1100 virago’s….then we had a bit of a break from them and for years rode an FZX 750, brother of the VMax. Loads of grin power!  But Dave died in May this year and I’ve always rode pillion. I miss him like mad I also miss biking so much. I got an 1999 1100 Virago sat in my shed that I cannot ride….Booo Hooo also got 1985 (I think) 1000 Kawasaki eliminator, has the old GPZ motor in it. Unfortunately I have to say goodbye to both bikes, its gonna break my heart. But I have to sell both bikes. I’ve just got to put a new front tyre on Virago, then it would sell through an MOT has low mileage too. Tha Kwak has been sitting around a while so would need servicing and the carbs need tuning. it does start but needs some love and tender care. Bodywork is good and has a lot of powder coating in various places, even starred in BSH one year.

Hey Carmy, glad to hear from you. Really sorry to hear you lost Dave this year, wasn’t aware of that. It must be very tough, my thoughts are with you and your family.

If you have pictures of the bikes, pop them on here, sounds like they should get some interest. Stay in touch  :)

Very sad news about Dave, I remember reading about it on FB.

Good to have you back, and I will spread the word about the bikes if you like

Was almost 36yrs for me n Dave. Huge part of me gone. Just started getting my head round it ;) But life is so strange without Dave. But I’m doing as Dave told me and that is to live life. If you could put the word around Radar, that would be great. Gonna try and post some pics of the bikes ;)virago1999.jpg

And this is me, taken in September this year. I had a party for the grand opening of The Smokey Cauldron, That’s what I named my rustic summer house with BBQ area. My son built the framework from chopped down branches from trees in my garden and has willow screening for the sides. Ok will post a pic of that as well.

Inside The Smokey cauldron, there’s enough seating for eight people and there’s more seating in the BBQ area ;) My son did this for me ;D

He worked out all the technical stuff. When he dug the holes for the framework, he tested it was strong enough by jumping on them and wiggle the post, he also put grvel at the bottom of post so that water drained away rather than rotting the post. the roof is water tight so dry inside. The BBQ area he done while I was away on holiday in Portugal. But that area was full of brambles and rubbish when I went away, so it was nice to come back and see it all done. I just gotta get planting some bulbs now so there’s colour there for the summer. His next project is building a stage in my garden for BBQ party may have a couple of bands playing ;) cant wait  ;)

Sounds like the BBQ party will be a blast, we had a singer and guitarist in the garden for my daughter’s 21st last year and it was great.
