Hello folks, I’ve not posted in a while

Anyways, do you find that if you talk to your friends about bike safety and awareness that they take extra care to look for other bikers because they themselves know a biker?

My friend Carl has said, since I started riding a bike he has noticed a lot more bikers and generally become more aware of their presence and how they act on the road.

I don’t know about you lot, but that’s at least one less car-driving idiot out there who “wont see us”

Too right Lev, I think it should be compulsory to actually ride a pushbike or motorbike for a day before you get your car licence. Makes you appreciate the other road users and their riding lines, need for space etc.

Does Carl know you think he was an idiot before he ‘saw the light’?

Carl agrees with the “everyone is an idiot on the road but yourself” rule we bikers follow, and he respects that out on the road I would treat him as though he had the intelligence of a Nat, same goes for him with me lol

But I like your idea of compulsory motorcycle training before getting in a car, bloody good ides that, and would certainly create more awareness, awareness dose save life’s after all.

It’s true, since i started riding and i constantly babble about riding- a lot of my car driving mates will always comment that they see and are more aware of bikers on their travels. tis good to know i have a positive affect on peep! haha[:o)]
