I didn’t own one but had a go on a few 500’s in the early eighties. Nice bikes for their time, not many seem to have lasted that long over here in the UK. Not sure if it was build quality or engine problems that have killed them off. Is your 81 model reliable?
Welcome Mikko. Was this the aircooled twin based on the old GS425E?
There were GS450 versions too.
I have not ridden one, I had a 1982 GS550E, which was the air-cooled four cyliner bike for a while in 1987/8, decent bike, but I am more of a Yamaha fan really.
