Well, picked up the TDM from Rich Kingdoms’ bike unit, new MOT & crash bars fitted, ready for another year. It was sunny but the Forest lanes were still slippery in places – I’d had a big slide in the car the night before so thought I’d take the long way home, sticking mainly to A-roads and popping into Wales.

Glamourous bike shops rare in the Forest… but Rich Kingdom is excellent….

Still warm, fuelled by that very nice bacon buttie….

So although it was only a 40 mile solo jaunt (not many bikers today on that normally popular route) it was still good to get out and get those Beowulfs growling… the new thermal clothing bought cheaply at Motorcycle Live certainly did its job as the keen wind didn’t make any impact, although a neck/face guard might be advisable on longer trips to stop that dripping nose….  ::)

    Haha…. ;D
Glad I did it on Saturday – the lanes out of Lydbrook have been iced up since Sunday morning: hasn’t got above freezing today on our hill….
