As poochick says, we’re thinking of you. Not sure there is a quick fix, just persevere with the police/council etc. As you say, friends of yours (myself included!) could scare them in the short term but it’s the reprisals afterwards which you need to be able to stop. Is it just your house or is it others around you which are suffering this crap?
My front door is opposite his, in sort of a little square, the other neighbours are fed up but it doesnt affect them as much, its hard to explain the set up, Radar, Thumper and Katana will know what I mean. The other neighbours hear the noise but they dont get everything else, yesterday they were even kicking my front door and slamming against it….result – the whole door frame is now loose and the latch has just about had it.
I have moved the bike today, so that is no longer a worry, but in the morning I am emailing the Local Policing Unit Commander, and if no joy, I will be in touch with the local rag, the local MP and the council. I cannot believe it has come to this, and to know now who is responsible for all the other attacks on the lockup and disturbances on my doorstep, yet not being able to do anything constructive whilst it is physically happening is incredibly frustrating and intimidating.LOVE IS GIVING SOMEONE THE ABILITY TO DESTROY YOU, THEN TRUSTING THEM NOT TO.

Gix,my heart goes out to you having to deal with this scum on your own.
Can you borrow a video camera and film any of this? This can be used as evidence for an ASBO on the scumbags. Also move your dogs sleeping basket to the hall next to the front door, he will bark to let you know when there’s someone there causing a nuisance and also act as a deterrent?

The dog sleeps in the hall already, he barks but as the noise goes on it goes to a growl, and as it goes on still he gets bored and goes to play, he is still a puppy.
As for the camera, I have one, but its where to do it from, there is only my front door and my bathroom window on the front, which I have to close cos its above the porch. Do you not have a local “heavy” or a “Mr Fixit” around your area that they all know and repect ? Maybe you could tell him the problem and let him or an associate issue a warning to them of some sort ? As Scouser says, I totaly sympathise with you Gix, it must be awful having to live with that.

I dont know many people round here, keep myself pretty much to myself, usually the best way round here. Don’t know any ‘heavies’. Think these scum will come to respect the pick axe handle though. One of the girls down at the school has told me to get kids out of back gate and down to hers, only about 50 yards away, so next time thats what I will do, then will come back, dial 999, tell coppers they have 5 minutes before hell lets loose, then will christen the bit of wood I have…will do it if kids are safe and out of the way.[

It’s not right you living in fear for you and the kids safety. Dont approach them on your own Gixerchic, could turn nasty. See with our neighbours think that we’re both a pair of nutcases, they also know that we no some heavy guys, Hells Angel types. So when they do anything they do it when we’re not looking, They dont confront us. I’m sure they think I’m a witch! (I’m not, but sometimes I let them think that! Very superstitious travellers. I really hope you get your problem solved, but dont hesitate to go to press and point out the police lack of action.

It seems that I have just got to keep dialling 999 when things kick off. After telling my father yesterday what had been going on, he phoned police hq in Stafford and lost his rag. The CLO for my area is unavailable at the moment and they wont send anyone else out to me. Probably too busy chasing motorists who have been caught speeding to be bothered with real criminals. Bastards.
