Anyone know of a UK supplier for what would appear to be a nifty little tool for those of us who are lacking a centre stand? I’ve only found US suppliers so far and the cheapest price has been $40 for up to 750cc bikes and $50 for over but shipping not included. Cheers![]

I now have a paddock stand which takes some getting used to but, what I used to do to oil my chain was a) push the bike while one of my kids sprayed the chain (after training of course, none on the wheel, tyre, and either side of the chain etc..)
b) A rubber mallet I have is just the right height for shoving under the swinging arm. You put the bike on the side stand in gear so it won’t roll, then lift the bike towards the left pivoting on the side stand and then shove the hammer under the right hand side, hammer head at the top and hey presto the wheel is off the ground for oiling.Be seen and be Safe!
