For the first time since 1988 my flag ship is not a Yamaha!
I traded the FZ1S in yesterday for this little beauty:
Ducati Monster S2R 1000…2008Ridden 200 miles on the Duke so far and I have to say I love it!

July 15, 2013 at 9:47 am #66406imperialdataKeymasterVery nice and a different beast to the Fazer for sure. Looks like it comes with its own halo too (although I’m sure that won’t last long!).

I enjoyed Thumpers M600 and have hankered after a Duke for many years. Finally got around to it.
Troube is I still fancy a V7 or a Bonnie too!

This will be the ‘Sunday-best’ bike with the Thundercat taking over touring duties from the FZ1S
December 7, 2013 at 9:34 pm #66416RadarModeratorWell just under a 1000 miles in six months and verdict so far is very positive. Great noise, love the handling and the gutsy performance. The miserable tank range is a problem, but hey ho.
Couldn’t see to adjust the chain either, but not too bad once I watched this:

The handbook says take to dealer…for chain adjustment!!?
