The proposal at the moment is doing the Pyrenees end of May start of June 2013. I have looked at ferries and the cheapest route is Portsmouth to Santander.
Ferry
Outbound sailing:-
Portsmouth – Santander.
Depart Friday 24th May 2013 at 1700.
Arrive Saturday 25th May 2013 at 1730.Return sailing:-
Santander – Portsmouth.
Depart Monday 3rd June 2013 at 1515.
Arrive Tuesday 4th June 2013 at 1415.I have based this on 4 people with 4 motorbikes at the moment just to get an idea of price.
The price is £1122, so £280.50 each.
Alternative return sailing:-
Santander – Portsmouth.
Depart Saturday 1st June 2013 at 2030.
Arrive Sunday 2nd June 2013 at 1945.This works out a little more expensive at £1182 or £295.50 each.
1 x Inside large 2 berth/4 berth cabin with ensuite facilities for both.
The other option is a car train from Paris but I need to look into that further.
Radar’s mate knows to some accommodation which still needs to be looked into and prices sorted.
We will be having a planning meeting/curry night soon in Kidderminster(TBA)

Just occurred to me that I need to careful on the dates as the Thundercat Forum can be around that time.
As I help organise it I will try to get that pushed out to mid June

Is the thundercat ride normally in may? I only ask because the BMF show is in May and I believe Ses and Katana are joining us in the moped enduro. So the Pyrenees trip would be better in June. I guess.

The Thundercat run is late May generally so June is looking favourite at the moment
