October 18, 2010 at 6:34 am #61697ChampsParticipantLets hope they aren’t the same ones the army has been waiting on for years
Bloody government!
October 18, 2010 at 9:17 pm #61698HippoDronesParticipantlol we’ll also probably rob the RAF of their planes lol
October 18, 2010 at 11:12 pm #61699RadarModeratorApparently Ark Royal is to be de-commissioned earlt (in 2011 rather than 2014) and one of the new carriers due for 2018 will be modifeied so it can accept fixed wing french and US aircarft rather than just VTOL JSFs.
Will you be OK Pete? How much longer are you signed up for?
October 18, 2010 at 11:35 pm #61700HippoDronesParticipantI got another 11 and a bit years to go, submariners should be ok tbh, not enough of us to man the boats we got lol and a few new subs being built
October 19, 2010 at 6:25 pm #61701RadarModeratorPlease to heare that Pete. Shame about the Ark and the Harriers too…I think the last of the harriers are not all that old! I wonder if there are plans to use American Marine Corps AV8 Harriers of the new carriersm at times of crisis until the JSF come on stream
