I may as well start it then…..
Thanks all for your support in 2008. I’ve been really busy this year with work so hope that 2009 will ease off a bit and I can contribute a bit more to the chat on here. Ta for all those who kept the conversations ticking over nicely in the dead periods, lots of forums seem to have disappeared this year. Big respect to the moderators (you know who you are!) for keeping the site spam-free and the conversation out of the gutter and on track. This site remains one of the few non-petty, non-badmouthing forums with genuinely friendly people contributing good content.
If you want to know what I’ve been up to (still in beta format but working well) take a peek at http://www.gixxerauctions.com . This has working auction searches for all bikes, not just gixxers and brings some very interesting results. I can’t develop the thing without spending time browsing the auctions!!

Merry Xmas ID, cheers for provided such an excellent forum, hopefully summer 2009 will be better the 2007 and especially 2008 and we can get some decent ride-outs and events going again.

Merry Chrimbo one and all, have to agree about the other forums. I rarely bother with gixerjunkies any more: it seems to go round in circles on there, where as here in The Bike Forum it remains constantly friendly and feel privileged to be a part of it! Roll on 2009 and hopefully some cracking weather and tops bike rides of all types either on MX tracks, green lanes, enduros, our tarmac’d finest and the many awesome tracks this country is blessed with!
And its a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Biking Year from me too, likewise I look forward to meeting more of you “WHEN THE SUMMER COMES”, as the last two have not been very good lets hope its third time lucky this coming year.
