No electrics

Hi can anyone please help i have no electrics working on my bike…The battery is fine,i have looked for any obvious loose wires.Can the regulator rectifier cause this problem…Please help before i get ripped off at the garage…

Hi rabman6 before you spend any money check main fuse,if ok then the regulator or rectifier is most likely to be the problem.

Have you jump started the bike ?

yes I did jump start the bike a few weeks back.I have checked the main fuse and it is ok.So i,ll try and get a rectifier.i can bump start the bike and when it is running the rectifier doesnt heat up.am i right in saying it should at least get warm ????

it only gets warm when the battery is charged and it is dumping the excess current through the heatsink.
