Hi can anyone please help i have no electrics working on my bike…The battery is fine,i have looked for any obvious loose wires.Can the regulator rectifier cause this problem…Please help before i get ripped off at the garage…

March 17, 2005 at 12:29 am #23475rabman6Participantyes I did jump start the bike a few weeks back.I have checked the main fuse and it is ok.So i,ll try and get a rectifier.i can bump start the bike and when it is running the rectifier doesnt heat up.am i right in saying it should at least get warm ????
March 17, 2005 at 12:35 pm #23476GSX RatParticipantit only gets warm when the battery is charged and it is dumping the excess current through the heatsink.
