All of my current bikes were bought used.
I have bought two new bikes. Lovely feeling.What do you lot prefer?
Donate – Or Imperial Data will have you sorted!If I had the money I`d buy new but,If you buy secondhand from a reputal dealer and the bike has all the service history,book stamped the lot,then your sure in for a good bike that can save you thousands but be just as good as a new one,plus you dont have to run it in.

Only bought a 250N superdream new, all my other bikes have been used. As Digger says, good SH and condition, but you do wonder has the bike been treated well?

Well when we bought the FZX 750, We got it with fsh. And our bike couldnt have been throttled that much cause we got it from a guy from the Isle of Wight and its almost impossible to get any speed up, over there. The trouble is with buying new its all that tax you have to fork out, and then you got to run it in, not to mention how much value the bike goes down just after a year. But then if I had loads of wedge, I would consider buying new.

Same with cars, never had the money to buy new… sloppy second for me!
To “ERR” is natural.. to really fowl things up needs a politician!!

I find myself dribbling over the Used Bike Guide, looking at all the bikes I used to just dream of that have subsequently become very affordable – Talk about a kid in a sweet shop!
I’m not frightened of tidying them up either – having a tinker around with them is a nice hobby.Am I the really only saddo that buys an AutoTrader now & then because it’s a good read !?
