Opps were’s me manners, Welcome to the forum Nutty. Nice bike, I think there are lots of goodies for your model. Go on the MandP website and type in your model name and it will come up with all parts relevant to your bike including styling.

March 19, 2005 at 10:27 am #23539imperialdataKeymasterWelcome nutty. Sorry for the noise in some of the previous posts, it was Radar typing his message with a plank of wood……
Some sound advice about the plates and indicators above. If you don’t want an excuse to get pulled over then I guess you need to keep it within the law. Some constabularies are worse than others. My local police are too busy catching real criminals to worry about the size of my indicators (ahem).
I got pulled over once because I was thrashing a 125 trailie (within the speed limit but having great fun). When I took off my helmet the policeman said “Oh, sorry, I wouldn’t have pulled you over if I knew how old you were. Thought you were 17 or something”. I was stuck for words, I was probably about 30 then. Oh and it had no indicators but that was perfectly legal!

Just like yourself, I took some time off (15yrs), and bought my Banditto back in January. I’m bloody loving it!!!!!!!!!! You’ll see a big picture of it on a chat page I started. If you need contacts for Bandit specific extras just have a browse on the web. Its a very popular bike, and loads of “bits n bobs” available. Let me know if you need any specific help and I’ll see what I can do.

M&P are pretty good for bits and bobs to spruce things up a bit…
above all enjoy returning to bikes you picked a good starter with the Bandit, I’d been riding for years when I happened across my 600 and I’ve had great fun with it.Even if the name does provoke some ‘fun’ names!!!

The Bandit was a bit more sedate than my old bike ( CBR 600 ) but great fun none the less , having no fairing is an experience especially when the wind picked up a bit later on in the day.
Been enjoying the pics and posts on here and have to say what a fantastic web site this is.
Happy biking to one and all.
March 22, 2005 at 10:27 pm #23544RadarModeratorGlad you enjoyed the first real blast on the bike. Let us know how the summer goes.
At some point a bigger Forum meet up should take place, wot do you reckon?

Enjoy the forum it realy is a friendly place and plenty of people to take the piss with.
