    Loved the RD’s, only had a 125LC tho but was tuned for 100+mph but geared for 70mph redline, nippy was not an exaggeration. Blew it up after getting it back on the road from a smash tho so sold it as a project to a kid I used to hang around with :)

    Good to see you back Hammy. As you say the RD350 were real loony bikes, in addition to the two in the main list I had another YPVS up to about a year ago. I am sure I will more of them in the future too

    Radar, there is something scarily familiar about the Yamaha RD350F2 photograph! Can’t believe it was so long ago.

    Just checked on the DVLA website and the 1989 RD350F2 is still with and taxed until the end of May!

    Seeing as the FZ has moved on and the S2R joined the fleet as flagship I thought it would be an idea to see how many of the others are still taxed and on the road:

    CB100N – last taxed in 1993…RIP old friend
    RD250LC – no longer with us
    RD350 YPVS – still out there!!
    GS550 – Last taxed in the late 1990’s
    Vf1000 – still going and out there
    RD350F2 – Still taxed
    FZ750 – still out there
    YZF600 – I still own this one!!
    XJR1300 – still out there and I want it back!
    FZ1S – In the dealers I got the Duke from, buy it, a fantastic bike

    That is a good survival rate!!
