This is my current ride, its a Honda GL1800 Goldwing, cruise control, air suspension, air compressor for tyres, cb radio, cd player, mp3 hook up, surround sound speakers, heated grips, heated seat, digital display, luggage compartments (side and top box) lol just abit of kit. Great for long distance touring. Good on fuel (full tank £25 get just under 300 miles).

March 21, 2011 at 11:35 am #62288imperialdataKeymasterA few years ago I wired up lots of aftermarket lighting for a friend’s GL1500. Have to say it was a pleasure to work on the electrics, diagrams were clear and the general setup of the battery, lighting and charging circuits seemed pretty good. You may tell me otherwise having had to work more on them, but I have to say it seemed pretty impressive at first glance.

March 22, 2011 at 10:47 pm #62290RadarModeratorI remember that Goldwing ID, didn’t it belong to the same chap who had a Z1100 shaftie??
March 23, 2011 at 12:21 am #62291imperialdataKeymasterYep, was a decent bike. I had to come to terms with wiring it up like a Christmas tree though….not my taste.
